President - Robert E. Watts
Bob is Managing Director for Resources Global, once a division of Deloitte and Touche LLP, providing finance and accounting, information management, risk and compliance, supply chain management, legal and regulatory, and human capital consulting. Bob has over twenty-five years experience in the information technology and management consulting industry focusing on financial systems, enterprise integration, application development and outsourcing. Bob spent nearly 13 years as Regional Manager and Area Director for an international systems integration consultancy and outsourcing company. Bob was President and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for several consulting and software development companies. While attending the graduate school at the University of Bridgeport, Bob was with IBM in New York, where he was a Systems Engineer, Programmer Analyst and a graduate of IBM’s Marketing School. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, magna cum laude. Bob is active in Financial Executives International, Association for Corporate Growth and other executive groups and charities throughout Florida.
Vice President - Harold W. Webb
Harold is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Information and Technology Management Department of the John H. Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa. He earned his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in the area of Management Information Systems. He also has a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. Harold currently teaches several graduate and undergraduate courses in management information systems at the University of Tampa. Harold’s research interests are in the areas of software testing, electronic commerce, and the impact of information technology on learning. His publications include several journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He is also a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Association for Computing, Machinery (ACM), INFORMS, and Decision Sciences Institute.
Treasurer - Kenneth Knapp
Ken is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at The University of Tampa. His specialties include information technology management, information and cyber security, IT governance and strategy, data and network communications, systems analysis and development and design. Dr. Knapp’s research focuses on information and cyber security effectiveness in organizations. He has been published in Computers & Security, Information Systems Management, Information Systems Security, Information Management & Computer Security, International Journal of Information Security and Privacy, Journal of Digital Forensics, Security, and Law, and Communications of the Association for Information Systems. He recently served as the editor of a peer-review chapter book titled Cyber Security and Global Information Assurance: Threat Analysis and Response Solutions. His research has been covered in media outlets such as Computerworld, Network World, CIO and CSO magazines and in (ISC)2 press releases. He is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
Secretary - Mary McCoy
Mary is the President and CEO of Prism Plus Consulting, LLC, which provides services in business and I.T. alignment, governance, business analysis, process improvement and project management. She has over twenty years of senior I.T. management and is a certified Project Management Professional. Additionally, Mary has extensive medical device manufacturing experience including ISO 13485 Process Certified and ISO 13485 Lead Auditor certified. She sits on the University of Tampa’s IT Advisory Board and the St. Petersburg College IT Advisory Board. Other memberships include Project Management Institute (PMI), the local PMI Suncoast Chapter, the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics’ Association (AFCEA), and the Florida Medical Device Manufacturers’ Consortium (FMMC). Mary is a Past President and Past Vice-President of the Tampa Bay Technology Leadership Association.
Director At Large - Cindy Brown
Cindy currently serves as the CEO of Pratt, Brown & Associates, an Information Technology Solutions Company. Prior to this, Cindy was the Vice-President of New Business Development for MGA Technologies, an IT staff augmentation company. Cindy has over 20 years of staff augmentation experience. She has specialized in Information Technology Consulting for the past 12 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management in 1995 from Saint Leo University, Dade City, Florida. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was named Distinguished Graduate of 1995. Cindy has been a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society since 1995. She founded the Tampa Bay Technology Leadership Association in 2001 and currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Board Member at Large. She served as the Membership Chair for four years.
Membership Committee - Dale Hempel
Dale currently serves as the Business Development Manager for University Alliance, a division of Bisk Education, a provider of professional development education and corporate training for global, national and local organizations. Prior to that, Dale was the Director of Business Development for State and Local Government agencies with ManTech Telecommunications & Information Systems Corporation, one of ManTech’s largest subsidiaries. Dale was educated in Sales & Marketing at St. Petersburg College. She is an active member of the Tampa Bay Technology Leadership Association, co-founder of GETSMART (Getting Everyone To Study Math And Related Technologies) as well as the Tampa Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA).
